What are the Effects of Acid Rain?….Did You Know!

How Can We Help!
”Now I know that this is a bit off Shopping, but I feel that is very Important to all of us”
There are many sources of pollution in Eastern Canada: the Great Lakes area is a hub of industrial activity, sending much-Sulfur dioxide and nitrous oxide into the atmosphere. In some areas of Ontario, the rainfall is about 40 times more-acidic than natural rain. This has already seriously ecosystems, and it could become worse. Many lakes in Districts could lose their fisheries if the pollution isNot reduced. Already, 140 Ontario lakes are dead or dying;48,000 more lakes are vulnerable to acid rain. Not counting the rest of the world. It is not just the lakes that are suffering. Cities such as Kingston, Ontario, have many buildings that are constructed from limestone. Many other areas of the country have also been negatively affected. Acid rain is a big problem,And it could be affecting your local area.
Now allot of us know this but did you know about what happens to our coats and outfits. My husband works at a place that watch’s this very close, when they work outside and it starts raining; well when they go back into the building they are checked by things that count the amount of Rayon Gas that is on the coats and such. If the count is very high then all clothes are not worn back out to go home, they stay in the building until it is dried. Now if that’s what happens their then what are we doing? We take them off, hang then up and then if we need to go out again that Wet Jacket or Coat goes back on us and we are off! Not good to my thinking, they should be left at home and another Dry Coat should be used and if are clothing are wet then those should be changed too. Do we really know what is happening to our world or do we just want to not think about it? I really believe that all of us are worried and we want to help but just don’t know how. I know that I was very surprised at this information on coats and such, so I will try and remember this so I don’t contaminate more places that I go or to other people (hugging with wet coats) now once the items are dried totally there are safe they say but I am not sure if that is right? But I will do the best I can and help out where I can, and learn as mush as possible about this problem.
