I didn’t know that……
Easter may be a time of celebration for people, but for pets it can be deadly.
Every year at this time very soon, Easter will be upon us and every year veterinarians treat cats and dogs who’ve been poisoned by either Easter Lilies and or chocolate eggs. Vet’s have also seen cases where dogs have died from eating chocolates, they say if your pet shows any sign of distress, from either sampling a chocolate bunny or some part of a Easter flowers…seek treatment right away.
This is the same for Christmas time with the Poinsettia plant this to can make them very sick. Here are a few more tips for your pets on foods that are Not good for them.Gum, Candy, Grapes, Raisins and Salt! If your pet does consume any salt (one teaspoon) it changes how liquid holds in your pets body, and can cause tremors, seizures and sometimes death. So please take a few minutes and make sure that your pet can not get any of these products that can cause any harm.
There is a lot of information on the web so you can check out other foods that may be harmful to your pets! Did you know that Onion’s are not good for dogs? This is a fact so if your love your pets…which we all do their like our children, we try are best to teach them and keep them safe.
